My dream job

 I was thinking that I don't have a dream job, it may be one of the reasons why I changed my study program so many times. I'm studying geography but I still can't imagine myself working even though I'm a year or so away from finishing my degree, but I would like to have a job as a part-time geographer and if it's possible with some field trips (I think I'm asking too much). I would like to be in an office but also in contact with nature. I still don't know in which area I would like to work, the only thing I know for sure is that I don’t like teaching or research



On the other side I would like to have another job, since I am not a person who can stay doing only one thing for a long time, this would be in something that I really like - something like hobby/work - I would like it to be related to art or photography  obviously in contact with nature and hopefully I could travel to see different places.


The salary issue doesn't worry me much because I don't want to have children or pets and I don't want to live in Santiago, which is one of the most expensive cities. Being able to pay for basic services is enough. I rather imagine a life in a quiet countryside in the south, as I feel it could be a nice place to live and to work in different things.

    I understand you a lot, it has been hard for me to find what I am really passionate about, I don't see myself working as an architect, but here we are in the middle of the career.

The Role of Technology in my Life

I consider that technology has a good role in my life because I´m not using technological objects all day.  I think this has been going on since I was little and my parents used to “give us time” to watch TV or play with technological devices and now I don't even watch TV or play video games (I always liked to go to the parks or participate in art workshops). In relation to smartphones and personal computers I only got them when I was 14 and 17 years old because being "connected" all day long doesn't call my attention (it's still hard for me to answer whatsapp or phone calls). I definitely would have liked to live in those years My favorite piece of technology is the tablet with the stylus. I use the tablet for drawing, to read ebooks and sometimes watching movies but almost never. I also use it to study because it is lighter and more comfortable to use. the best travel

A beautiful memory I have of the past was a trip we took to San Pedro De Atacama, Chile with a few classmates from the school in 2014. It was not a vacation but it the felt like one.   Well, when I was in high school, I participated in the astronomy workshop with 14 other classmates and every year in october we went for a week to a northern city to visit the observatories and the tourist and astronomical routes, I remember that in 2012 we traveled to La Serena and Vicuña; in 2013 we went to Antofagasta. But by far the best trip was the one in 2014 which was also the last year of school. We traveled in airplane to Calama and then a car took us to a very beautiful hostel that was in the center of San Pedro, the first day they gave us free to walk around the town and then at night we had the first activity which was to make a night route and they taught us to use telescopes and about the constellations.
